Each year, the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) brings together local Hispanic Chambers of Commerce, Hispanic business leaders, and corporate partners, to foster Hispanic economic development for the greater American economy. This year’s 40th annual National Convention held September 29th through October 1st at the Albuquerque Convention Center brought together more than 200 local Hispanic Chambers of Commerce from across the country, Hispanic business owners, corporate executives, and Hispanic publishers from across the country. With more than 157,257 small businesses, $3.7 billion in exports, and the largest Hispanic statewide population share nationally, New Mexico was the ideal location to celebrate the success and growth of the Hispanic small business community. Signature events hosted included the Chamber Awards Breakfast, Women in Business & Leadership Luncheon, ERG Summit, and Business Matchmaking—as well as new programs and networking opportunities. During the event, LATINA Style, Inc. CEO Robert Bard, was recognized by USHCC for his hard work and dedication for the past 25 years at LATINA Style and the community.
