Captivate the Essence of the 2023 Kia Telluride
By Melissa Barrera
Just three years after being introduced to the market, the Kia Telluride continues to reach new heights in popularity. While early versions of the vehicle were met with consumer satisfaction and well-received by the automotive industry, the 2023 Kia Telluride has surpassed expectations by featuring not only a wide range of standard features but also an expanded line of trim models. From the LX starting at $35,000 to the higher-end X-Pro, which starts at just over $50,000, the 2023 Kia Telluride is once again the mid-size SUV that fits just about every lifestyle and every budget.
The X-Pro package includes various features for comfort and convenience, many of which can be found in the 12.3-inch Dual Panoramic Displays. This infotainment screen serves as a hub for features including: in-dash navigation, Kia Connect & SiriusXM® Satellite Radio, Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, and wireless smartphone charging. It is available in eight exterior colors and three trim choices for the leather interior, providing a more personalized feel.
All models of the Telluride feature Kia Drive Wise or driver-assisted technology. Forward and blind-spot collision monitoring, rear-cross traffic collision avoidance, a full digital display rearview mirror, and lane departure warnings are just some of the many features designed to ensure driver and passengers have a safe ride to their destination.
The most impressive part of the Telluride X-Pro is its versatility. It can function as a family vehicle, a taxi for kids’ sports team, or a weekend excursion. It has the capability to drive on any terrain.
On a recent trip to Telluride, CO, the vehicle made its way up the Imogene Pass. With a height of over 13,000 ft. above sea level, traveling this road, though well-traveled, is not for the faint of heart. Through narrow twists and turns, over rocks and gravel, in hail and rain, the Telluride seamlessly and successfully maneuvered it all.
“The Kia Telluride took the Kia brand to new heights both literally and figuratively and now we’re showcasing just how rugged, capable and refined the new Telluride X-Pro is and how far off the beaten path it is ready to go,” says Russell Wager, vice president, marketing, Kia America. “Telluride is Kia’s most capable SUV ever and we wanted to show how it can adapt to a variety of situations, no matter what ‘genre’ of lifestyle people lead.”
