The Latino Coalition Latina’s Prosperity Summit
On September 24th, the Latino Coalition hosted its first national Latina’s Prosperity Summit, focusing on the most dynamic demographic group in our country, Latinas, in Washington, D.C. The Summit agenda featured leading Latinas in business and government, with a close look at what Latinas need to scale and grow their businesses, from procurement opportunities to tax code certainty and regulatory clarity.

 

Association of Latino Professionals For America (ALPFA)
For the third year in a row, ALPFA along with Goldman Sachs hosted the 50 Most Powerful Latinas Summit, honoring the achievements of Latinas in business on October 3rd. This year’s summit focused on legacy-building and fostering the next generation of Latina leaders.

Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute (CHLI)
With a mission to prepare and connect young leaders, the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute hosted their Regional Leaders Conference in Florida on October 11th. The day topic was “Connecting You to The Real World.”

Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF)
On October 1st, the Hispanic Heritage Foundation hosted the 32nd Hispanic Heritage Awards at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, DC. The Hispanic Heritage Awards serve as a launch of HHF’s year-round, award-winning programs which inspire, prepare and connect Latino leaders in the classroom, community and workforce to meet America’s needs as well as promoting cultural pride.

Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI)
On September 10-11, the CHCI 2019 Leadership Conference brought together key partners and thought leaders from a wide range of sectors and industries to examine critical issues affecting the Latino community and our nation.

Celebrating Latino legacy and contribution, the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute (CHCI) convened more than 2,000 community leaders and allies to honor our community’s resilience, power, and growing leadership.

 

Latino Leaders Network (LLN)
On September 12th, the Latino Leaders Network hosted their 59th Latino Leaders Luncheon Series in Atlanta, GA honoring Ozzie Areu, Founder & CEO of Areu Bros. Studios with the Eagle Leadership Award.  The Latino Leaders Network is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to “Bringing Leaders Together” to establish relationships, build unity, and share our personal stories since 2004.
