We Are All Human: Hispanic Leadership Summit

With a mission to advocate for every human to be respected and empowered by focusing on shared humanity, We Are All Human is devoted to diversity and inclusion as a way to achieve equity and convenes the network of progressive leaders to inspire and facilitate collective action. 

On May 3rd, the Hispanic Leadership Summit was held in Dallas, TX, to align and strategize effective advancement for the Hispanic community. During the summit, attendees and speakers heard from experts and gained insights from the national conversation with nuanced focuses specific to the South Central Regional.

In coming to the DFW area, we are acknowledging the nuances between different areas of the country and the opportunities for action and collaboration that are particular to the businesses that are present there,” says Claudia Romo Edelman. “We were there to listen, learn and understand what actions to take once the summit ended. We were there to build a path to the future ensuring a win-win for the Hispanic community and all stakeholders present.”

The one-day summit explored methods and opportunities for collaboration, including the role corporate America can play in supporting its current workforce, preparing the future workforce, advancing gender equality, and ensuring good health & well-being. In addition, speakers discussed best practices and areas of opportunity to work together to effectively move the needle and address key issues that remain barriers to growth for the Latino community. This regional summit is an extension of the National Hispanic Leadership Summit, which will take place this year on December 7 & 8 in New York City.
